Come See Premier Mounts Time Saving Dedicated Video Wall Frames

ANAHEIM, CALIF. (June 17, 2011) – Premier Mounts (www.mounts.com), a leading manufacturer of A/V mounts, carts & stands, and accessories, is introducing their new Large Matrix Video Wall Mount (LMV and LMVF) at InfoComm 2011, booth # 1331.

Premier Mounts’ mobile and permanent video walls are designed to fit many applications. The fundamental key to their design is modularity, simple installation and easy access to the display. The newly developed, scissor-style dedicated large matrix video wall mount, LMV, takes the guess work and extra time out of daunting large scale installations.

A custom version of the LMV was used to construct the largest video wall in a U.S. airport in Las Vegas. Premier Mounts is proud to have provided the “backbone” for the 100-screen video wall, measuring 33 feet by 19 feet, installed at McCarran International Airport’s D Concourse rotunda. Premier Mounts’ custom design department worked closely with the display manufacturer, the A/V systems integrator, and the contractor to complete this challenging project.

The LMV and LMVF are not only designed for large custom video walls. They were engineered with the end user in mind, with the knowledge that aligning each flat panel in a large wall is a time consuming and costly task. Model-specific spacers are available for most flat panels, dramatically cuts down the installation time.

The spring-loaded LMV allows easy access to individual displays within a large matrix when they need to be serviced.

“The ‘Click-It’ locking feature sets this video wall mount design apart from comparable mounts,” explains Shaun Obrien, Product Manager at Premier Mounts. “This design ensures that the display is locked in and ready for use by making an audible clicking sound when pushed back to its home position.”

Its scissor design and compact mounting arms allow for it to be pushed in and pulled out in a straight, smooth motion. Simply “Click-It” in after making any adjustments, or push in to “Click-It” out if any servicing is needed. The LMVF, includes all of the innovative features as the LMV, but stays in a fixed position on the wall with no extension.

Most walls are not perfectly flat, which creates a problem for some video wall installations. Displays can look like they are not all aligned in the same direction, altering the appearance of a video wall. The patent-pending, top-adjustable mounting brackets on the LMV and LMVF add to the ease of installation with three labeled adjustment points on each arm. These allow the end user to fine-tune the frames so that they all line up evenly and remain level.
