Generation LED Hybrid Light Source with 20,000 Hour Lifespan and 30 Percent
More efficient light source
DOVER, NJ, JUNE 10, 2014 — Casio America, Inc. is proud to announce its new lineup
of SLIM projectors. Weighing in at only five pounds, the
new SLIM LampFree® projectors are 1.7 inches thick, making them the
thinnest high-brightness projectors in the industry. In addition, Casio’s
latest SLIM projectors offer a number of features that are ideal for presenters
on the go.
The
SLIM series of LampFree® projectors feature Casio’s proprietary LASER

and LEDs to generate high brightness. Now in its 5th
generation, the improved LASER & LED HYBRID Light Source offers a 30
percent increase in light output for improved colors for all models in Casio’s
LampFree® portfolio in addition to an estimated 20,000 hours
lifespan with minimal brightness degradation and continuous operation.
“Casio’s
newest SLIM projector lineup gives mobile presenters the ability to present
anywhere without compromising color, clarity or performance,” said Matt
Mustachio, General Manager of Casio’s Business Projector Division. “The new
models have all the features and performance that our customers have come to
rely on, all in a lightweight and compact design that provides them with the
ability to focus on what’s important; their presentation.”
The
latest introductions in the SLIM lineup offer remote operation capable
through Crestron Roomview™, Intelligent Brightness Control, wired LAN
projection and MobiShow®, which enables users to make
presentations wirelessly via any smartphone, computer or other mobile device
equipped with wireless LAN capabilities. Each model is fitted with a fully connectable
interface, including three types of video and audio inputs, as well as HDMI,
RGB and RS-232C terminals.
Equipped with 2
GB of built-in memory, the new SLIM projectors allow many file formats, such as
PDF and QuickTime. They
can also display content from a PC by connecting the projector and PC through a
USB cable, as well as a variety of languages – 10 new in main (total 23) and 8
new in USB (total 18) including Dutch, Norwegian, Polish, Finnish, Turkish and
Portuguese.
Casio’s LampFree® Slim projectors come with
