Worldwide Leader in Display Wall Technology Visualization to Provide Products That Support Country’s Infrastructure in Transportation, Telecom, Power, Manufacturing, and Mining

InfoComm India Roadshow2012, Mumbai, India – February 13 - 17, 2012 –Jupiter Systems, the industry leader in display wall technology, today announced that it will participate in the InfoComm India 2012 Roadshow. The company also plans to seek relationships with additional Indian systems integration companies that can represent Jupiter Systems in India. Dorothy Farris, V.P., Worldwide Sales, will speak at the Manufacturer’s Presentations and Transportation Industry Conferences in New Delhi on February 13; Mumbai, February 15; and Bangalore, February 17, 2012.

“While most of the world economies have struggled with the financial crisis and recession, India’s economy has remained strong,” said Brady Bruce, Vice President of Marketing and Strategic Alliances at Jupiter Systems. “India is Asia’s third largest economy, with growth that is expected to outpace China’s within the next three to five years. Jupiter Systems is expanding sales in India, and we are building a strong network of systems integrators and consultants to support it. We believe in the energy and enterprise of the Indian people and that Indian investment in the country’s infrastructure will continue to drive economic growth and demand for our products.”

Jupiter provides processors used to control large display walls that enable the visualization of large numbers of data inputs and sources. These display walls are frequently used in industries that support a country’s basic infrastructure, such as transportation, defense, security, power, telecommunications and mining. Display wall processors provide the nerve center for video walls used in control room operations. These powerful systems elicit data from a broad range of information sources and present it on a large display wall or an operator’s desk where it can be viewed, shared, and manipulated. Jupiter controllers provide an easy-to-use, high resolution graphical user interface that enables the viewer to see events as they happen in the field and that allows users to zero in on specific areas within that field of reference.

Fusion Catalyst™
Jupiter’s Fusion Catalyst line of display wall processors provide a centralized solution for control room projects that require high performance and reliability in a cost effective, space-efficient platform. A Fusion Catalyst Display Wall Processor incorporates all of the visual data sources found in a control room environment and displays them in movable, scalable windows on a virtual display comprised of multiple output devices: monitors, LCD flat panels, plasma panels, projection cubes, or a rear projection system. Data sources can include local applications, remote network applications, remote network RGB streams, compressed network video streams, directly connected SD and HD video, VGA, and DVI inputs. All data sources are accessed from an intuitive and consistent software interface that provides complete control of the virtual display surface.

PixelNet®
Jupiter’s PixelNet® distributed display wall system utilizes data network technology to capture, distribute, control and display digital and analog video sources for audiovisual applications. PixelNet adopts Gigabit Ethernet and Ethernet switches for use with high resolution, real-time video. Using packet-switching technology, PixelNet® allows any information source to be shown on any display, whether as a window on a single display or as a window spanning multiple display devices in a display wall. In addition, PixelNet® allows any source to be shown at any size on any display or array of displays.
