Standard and consistent classroom technology is every College dream. Shalem College is a new Liberal Arts College established in January 2013, following accreditation by the Council for Higher Education. The private, undergraduate degree-granting institution realized the importance of easy to use audio-visual system, searched and found the best solution for their needs from Tecom Electronics – the TecPodium Interactive Lectern. The All-in-One AV Lecterns were installed in the College classrooms while in the smaller and more intimate meeting rooms, a compact and easy to use Tecom projector control system (TCD-100) allows the teacher or presenter to control the projector or other display devices easily. Having a single source of supply and support just made sense for the AV department. With their busy classrooms, they loved the fact that all TecPodiums have a well-ventilated structure that keeps the equipment safe and secure, keeping maintenance to a minimum, thus saving the College considerable amount of time and money.
