Beijing, China. -- August 22, 2008 -- Jupiter Systems the industry leader in display wall processors, is pleased to announce that its high performance family of Fusion Display Wall Processors were selected for the Beijing Summer Games to be used in the Olympics Traffic Command Center, the Security Command Center and for command and control in Terminal 3 of the Beijing International Airport, the largest in Asia.

A Jupiter Fusion 980 Display Wall Processor was selected to manage the Beijing Olympic Traffic Command Center and a 98–cube (14 x 7 array) display wall, covering some 194 square miles and all transportation services including bus, subway, railway, highway and civil aviation for the 2008 Beijing Summer Games.  Another Jupiter Fusion 980 Display Wall Processor was chosen to manage the 48-cube (12 x 4 array) display wall at the Beijing Olympics Security Command Center, which played a key role earlier in the China-Africa Cooperation Summit of 2006.  A third Jupiter Display Wall Processor, the Fusion 964, was chosen to manage operations and security at Terminal 3 of the Beijing International Airport, with a 27-cube (9 x 3 array) display wall.

All three installations are integrated with other Jupiter Systems-based control rooms in the Beijing Municipal Firefighting Bureau and almost every Traffic Police bureau in Beijing, providing comprehensive coverage of the security and safety protocols implemented for the games.

As permanent additions to the Beijing Olympics venues and Beijing International Airport, the Jupiter systems will serve athletes, spectators, and travelers at many future events, including the 2008 Beijing Paralympic Games, scheduled for September 6-17, 2008.
