Hayward, CA. – October 6, 2008 -- Jupiter Systems (www.jupiter.com), the industry leader in display wall processors, today announced the selection of Brady O. Bruce as Vice President of Marketing and Strategic Alliances.

Bruce brings a strong background in defining and building highly successful technology products and services companies in the telecom, broadband media, video, and mobile industries. Accomplished in marketing communications, branding, channel development, product management and market building, the companies which he has led have won numerous awards and significant media attention.
 
Most recently, from 2005 – 2007, Bruce was Senior Vice President, Telecom Products and Services at Promptu, an award winning maker of voice enabled mobile applications. Driving brand development and creating a new level of recognition for the company in the technology and business press, Bruce also led product development, creating new products for mobile operators and content providers. Traveling widely, he forged strong relationships with operators and handset makers in Europe, Asia, and North America, as well as content and technology partners.
 
Prior to joining Promptu, Bruce served as Vice President, Sales and Support at PRISMIQ, an award-winning maker of broadband media hubs for retail and service provider markets. There he built the company’s worldwide network of retail and service provider channels, making PRISMIQ MediaPlayer the industry’s top selling product.
 
Previously, Bruce served as Senior Vice President of Marketing and Business Development at NightFire Software, Inc., a telecom software firm funded by Sequoia Capital, US Venture Partners, New Enterprise Associates, Technology Partners, and Roda Group. Earlier, he worked as Vice President of Marketing at Radius, refocusing the firm on digital video products and rebranding the company as Digital Origin. Bruce was founder and CEO at Fatbubble, Inc., a social networking pioneer in San Francisco. He was later co-inventor on a US patent in social networking technology. He also held key positions in marketing and sales at VTEL Corporation, a videoconferencing products maker in Austin. While pursuing doctoral studies in Economics, he was an Instructor and Senior Lecturer in Economics at the University of Texas at Austin, Texas State University, and Austin Community College.
