DIGI-HDX adds HDMI DA and network switching to HDBaseT extenders
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado—October 6, 2014—Liberty AV Solutions announced the immediate availability of the latest Intelix HDBaseT extender series, DIGI-HDX. Key features of the new extenders include local HDMI output on the transmitter, power over Ethernet (PoE), bidirectional IR, bidirectional RS232, and Ethernet pass-through with a 2-port network switch on the receiver.
The new DIGI-HDX extend HDMI over twisted pair cable. Power can be sent from either end of the extender set to power the remote extender, while still extending 1080p, full 3D or 4k x 2k video signals up to 90 meters (196 feet). The bidirectional wideband IR, bidirectional RS232, and Ethernet passthrough capabilities make the DIGI-HDX compatible with most control systems.
The DIGI-HDX-series extenders (DIGI-HDX-S and DIGI-HDX-R) are sold individually, in stock and now shipping from authorized Liberty AV Solutions/Intelix dealers across North America. Power supply (PS-24D-25) and IR components (DIGIB-EMT and DIGIB-EYE) are sold separately.
