COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado—January 5, 2015—Liberty AV Solutions released long range variations to some current HDBaseT products: DIGI-HDXL-S, DIGI-HDXL-R, and FLX-BO4A-XL. These products allow 1080p with multichannel audio and control signals to reach up to 150 meters (492 feet) over a single twisted pair cable. The XL variety products are compatible with all Intelix HDBaseT product offerings and any product that meets the HDBaseT specifications.  

The DIGI-HDXL extenders are compatible with shielded varieties of Category 6-rated twisted pair cable. Power can be sent from either end of the extender set to power the remote extender, while still extending 1080p video signals up to 150 meters (492 feet). The bidirectional wideband IR, bidirectional RS232, and Ethernet pass-through capabilities make the DIGI-HDXL compatible with most control systems. The HDMI distribution chip in the DIGI-HDXL-S sends one signal to the HDBaseT output and the other signal to the local HDMI output for a local display. This new feature also allows HDMI source devices that do not support DDC clock stretching (HDMI 1.2 and below) to be extended over the HDBaseT link without issues. The two-port network switch on the DIGI-HDXL-R allows a second device to share the 100BaseT Ethernet pass-through connection without adding additional hardware to the installation.  

The FLX-BO4A-XL is a four output card compatible with the FLX-88, FLX-1616, and FLX-3232 matrices. The FLX-BO4A-XL takes advantage of HDBaseT outputs to connect any source device to a remote display, up to 150 meters (492 feet) away, utilizing shielded varieties of Category 6-rated twisted pair cable. The bi-directional RS232 connections for each output allow control signals at the equipment rack to control displays connected to compatible receivers. The FLX-BO4A-XL also includes the ability to extract stereo audio from the HDMI signal. The stereo analog audio is output to 3.5mm jacks.
